Riot Games today released the patch notes for VALORANT update 3.03, which will be available in the coming days. Along with a fix for Viper's ultimate bug, the patch 3.03 update will include a slew of other gameplay and map updates.
According to recent leaks, one of the major upcoming changes will be the addition of a Tournament feature, in which a player will be able to create a team or join any existing teams to compete in high stakes tournaments with in-game rewards. There will be a tournament shop where the rewards can be collected or spent on in-game items.
Other features include a scouting board for finding available players or teams to join, as well as the ability to use team tags similar to CS: GO's team tag feature.
Tournaments will be held every other weekend, with teams competing for rewards. One thing to keep in mind is that players will need to verify their identity before they can create or join any teams.
