Jaccob “Yay” Whiteaker, the AndBox Demon, has been acquired by Team EnVy and will make his debut in the upcoming VCT Stage 3: Challengers playoffs.
Team EnVy announced that “yay” would be replacing Anthony “mummAy” DiPaolo on the EnVy roster. The NA organization has also signed Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen on loan from FaZe Clan in a bid to restructure their Valorant division.
From the looks of things, team EnVy is fortifying its core by adding extra firepower in the form of the El Diablo "yay" who mains Jett, a duelist, in Valorant. Team EnVy has already qualified for the Challengers Playoffs event, which will begin on August 11, 2021, and will face the newly rebranded TSM FTX in the first round of the tournament.
