BGMI India Series Rules: Allowed Devices - Ghatak

BGMI India Series

With the recently announced BGMI India Series, most of the fans were left confused with the inconsistent BGMI India series rules and guidelines.

Previously, Krafton stated in the official rulebook that only Android users would be permitted, casting doubt on the future of iOS users. Many BGMI players prefer to play on iPhones because they provide excellent performance. However, they quickly changed the eligibility criteria to allow iOS users, or more specifically, any handheld mobile device.

Even after that, fans are perplexed and concerned about the use of third-party software to boost performance, even though many gaming devices include such software. Furthermore, no information has been provided regarding the use of external triggers, joysticks, Bluetooth keyboards, or peripherals.

Fans are concerned that using devices with such triggers will result in their ban from later stages of the tournament, as KRAFTON has not been clear about the use of such devices, such as the ROG phones, etc.

To clear up any confusion or speculation, Abhijeet Andhare, aka Ghatak, recently posted on his Instagram that triggers will not be permitted in conjunction with any third-party application that boosts performance to gain an unfair advantage in-game.

“Yes, phones with built-in trigger sensors, like ASUS ROG phone and the like, are allowed in BGIS. However, using third-party software within the game is not! ”He said.

He further suggested “Don’t use triggers”,

So, for the time being, any Android users with built-in triggers and the like can relax, because it appears that, aside from certain built-in features, any handheld device is permitted in the BGMI India Series.
