CSGO Veteran NBK- Announces His Switch To VALORANT

The ‘natural born killer,' NBK, is a CSGO legend with an illustrious career, with two major wins under his belt between the years 2014 and 2017. After a 9-year run, the French veteran has finally announced his retirement from CSGO and switch to VALORANT.

Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt, born June 5, 1994, is a French CSGO professional who began his esports career with Counter-Strike: Source and has played for top tier lineups such as LDLC, EnVyUs, G2, and Vitality. He is undoubtedly one of the most well-known CSGO players of all time.

NBK won his first Valve-sponsored Major Championship with team LDLC at DreamHack Winter 2014, followed by his second Major victory with team EnVyUs at DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca 2015. From 2013 to 2015, he was named on the HLTV.org best players list on a consistent basis.

Following some underwhelming performances with European teams in 2019, NBK- is the latest to join the list of former CSGO pros making the switch to VALORANT in an attempt to start a new career. It will be interesting to see which organization NBK- ends up in.
